Description
Winemaking of Quinta Vale Dona Maria Vinha do Rio Tinto Wine: All grapes are handpicked, carefully selected on a sorting table and trodden in lagares where they then ferment for 7 to 10 days at temperatures of 22º to 27ºC. Aging: New 225L French Allier oak barrels (François Freres, Taransaud, and others), where malolactic fermentation and aging take place for 21 months. The final selection of barrels and the blend composition generally takes place between May and June of the second year after the harvest.
