Description
"Until the late 90s, Dão wines were traditionally aged in uncoated cement tanks. I vinified and bottled many of those wines when I started my career as a young winemaker. Stainless steel tanks and barrels were a mirage for 80% of producers. With that memory, I preserved a cement tank at Quinta de Santa Maria in Cabanas de Viriato where I aged this wine to recall the Dão wines of other times that still delight knowledgeable wine lovers." by Carlos Lucas
