Description
Description
Vinification of Vale Dona Maria Vinhas do Sabor Red Wine: All grapes are handpicked, carefully selected on the sorting table and destemmed before entering the granite lagares. All grapes are trodden in lagares and then ferment for 7 to 10 days at temperatures of 22º to 27ºC in stainless steel tanks with manual remontage. The wines are racked into second and third use 225L French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation takes place.
