Esporão Red Wine Vinegar Made from selected wines, red wine vinegar is valued for its aging, at least six months, in French oak barrels, which makes it smooth and aromatic. Through a careful production method, Herdade do Esporão's red wine vinegar undergoes a double fermentation process. After fermentation ends, the vinegar is placed in French oak barrels, where it ages for at least 6 months to benefit from the aromas of the wood and the wines previously aged there. This vinegar has an estimated shelf life of 5 years, can age over time, and may develop cloudiness due to its natural origin.
