Vinha Grande Red 2022

Vinha Grande is a red wine from Douro, classic and intense, with a well-defined character that reflects all the richness and quality of the region in creating the best blended wines. Vinha Grande is part of the Casa Ferreirinha wine range, the house with the greatest tradition in quality wines in Douro and one of its greatest world references. It is vinified in the modern Quinta do Seixo winery, in Cima Corgo, and in Quinta da Lêda, in Douro Superior, with refined technology. After gentle crushing and destemming, the grapes are sent to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place with long macerations. During this period, gentle extractions are carried out using the existing maceration systems, pumping over, and/or robotic pigeage with controlled temperature.
